SIGA Ministry Partners, Inc. is an ecumenical Christian ministry, governed by a dedicated board of directors, composed of both clergy and lay persons. SIGA was founded in 2004 by Ruth Clowater, who currently serves as its president and is a full-time missionary along with her husband, Carlos Espinoza. While based in Costa Rica, SIGA has active outreach initiatives in both Costa Rica and Nicaragua.
SIGA Ministry Partners, Inc. is a Virginia corporation recognized as a non-profit charity as defined by Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. Its ministries are supported by charitable contributions and volunteers who work on its behalf both in Central America and in the USA. Charitable contributions are tax-deductible as allowed by law, and a copy of the Determination Letter issued by the IRS is available upon request.
